The fair is set within the grounds of Portmeirion Village – an interesting setting inspired by Mediterranean architecture with an Italian look and feel. It’s usually a very well attended event with more than 120 exhibitors.
Over the course of the festival, you can sample some of the best food and drink from across the region, including seasonal mulled wine and cider. Pick up some bits for Christmas day, or some tasty treats to enjoy back at the park.
Peruse the craft stands and make a start on your Christmas shopping – there will be plenty of artisan makers selling their wares. With everything from jewellery to homeware, you’re bound to find something special for you friends and family ahead of the big day.
There’s a host of entertainment to keep the whole family entertained. Adults will love the cookery demonstrations, workshops and live music performances. Younger members of the family can venture into Santas Grotto!
Garreg Goch Caravan Park is ideally placed to enjoy the festive Food & Craft Fair in Portmeirion – it takes around 15 minutes to make the journey by car. In previous years organisers have layed on a complimentary shuttle bus from Porthmadog, but details have not yet been confirmed for 2024.
