Children’s Playground

At Garreg Goch we commissioned one of the best play specialists in the UK to design and construct a bespoke timber playground. Positioned at the centre of the park, but encircled by landscaping and motorhome pitches, our Timberplay playground provides a safe but exciting environment for children to relax and play in. It has been well worth the financial investment and often becomes the favourite holiday pastime for younger visitors.

Here, children can easily spend hours every day meeting other children and exploring the possibilities that our extensive playground equipment can provide. There is also a small ball playfield and three swings surrounding the new playground.

Equipment for all ages

There’s something for all ages at this adventure play area, with a Rocking Sailing Boat and Flag which is great for imaginary voyages, a Cradle Nest which is lovely to lie in and be pushed, a Platform House, which often serves as a fantasy ice cream van and a Sand Pit.

We have also installed a water play system, which has a mud table, water pump and platform, water see saw and a bucket wheel. And right next to the playground, we have positioned wooden benches and picnic tables, so that parents and supervisors can watch and relax while their children play*.

*Please note that all playground equipment is unsupervised and is for children of the ages identified on the colour coded guideline on site. For more information on this please contact Reception.

Surrounded by nature

The park is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and abundant wildlife. Little ones can watch the rabbits and enjoy spotting birds as you enjoy a lovely walk to the beach down a quiet country pathway.

Of all popular pastimes at Garreg Goch however, the perennial favourite has to be scooter riding and roller skating around the park and for this reason, we ask all visitors to be especially careful when driving around our access roads.
