  • We have a range of accommodation options at Garreg Goch caravan park. We have touring and motorhome pitches as well as holiday caravans, lodges and a hot tub glamping pod.

  • Yes, Garreg Goch is a family friendly holiday park. Children are welcome and we have an outdoor play park for them to use!

  • Yes, Garreg Goch is a dog friendly holiday park in North Wales. We have a range of dog friendly accommodation and facilities. Up to 2 dogs and permitted per touring or motorhome pitch.

  • Yes, Black Rock Sands is a lovely 5-10 minutes walk away.

  • No, we do not allow drones on park to protect the privacy of our guests.

  • Yes, you are more than welcome to have friends and family to visit. They may need to park off site.

Bookings

  • You can book a stay at Garreg Goch online 24/7. It is also possible to book via phone or email.

  • A deposit is required, with the outstanding balance due 8 weeks before your arrival.

    If your stay is 8 weeks or less away, you will need to pay the balance in full at the time of booking.

  • Your balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date.

  • The balance must be paid in full 8 weeks before arrive. You can pay be instalments if you wish up until this time.

  • We accept debit card, credit card and Apple pay.

  • Yes, you are more than welcome to add extra people to your booking as long as you do not go over the berth of the holiday home booked.

  • Yes, however this is depending on availability.

  • Yes, you are more than welcome to book for friends or family. A stay at Garreg Goch makes a lovely birthday or Christmas gift.

  • Yes, of course! Please pop into reception. One of our friendly team will check availability for you and will help you secure your chosen dates.

  • Yes, it is possible, however it is dependent on availability. Please pop into reception and speak to one of our team.

  • Yes, we offer 3, 4 and 7 night breaks.

Arrival / Departure

  • Please pop into reception when you arrive at the park. You can also check in online using our online check-in portal,

  • If you check in online you will need your email address and booking reference number.

    When checking in at reception all we need is your name (and a happy smile!)

  • There are two types of accommodation at Garreg Goch Holiday Park with a hot tub - our Lodge and S-pod. The perfect option for couples and families looking for a luxury self-catering holiday in North Wales.

  • Yes, you can hire a travel cot and/or highchair from the reception at Garreg Goch'.

    Travel cots and highchairs are available to rent for £7 each per stay.

  • No, there aren’t any irons or ironing boards in our holiday accommodation. You can however find these items in our laundrette.

  • Yes, however this is based on availability.

    If you have a specific preference, please let us know when booking and we'll try to best accommodate your needs.

  • Yes, we supply bed linen in all of the holiday accommodation options at our North Wales holiday park.

    Our team will provide enough bed linen for each guest staying at Garreg Goch.

  • We do not provide towels or tea towels in any of the holiday accommodation options at Garreg Goch.

  • We have one unit that has ramped access at Garreg Goch, however the interior it is not specifically designed for wheelchair use.

  • Yes, the lodges and static caravans for hire at Garreg Goch have a small kitchen which features a range of amenities including a microwave.

  • Yes, our holiday accommodation comes with fully equipped kitchens, which contain a variety of pots, pans and crockery.

    If you believe that you may need a specific utensil - either let us know prior to your arrival, or simply bring it with you.

  • Yes, all of our holiday accommodation comes with an allocated parking space for a single vehicle.

  • Yes, it is often possible to site extended families next to each other depending on availability. Please let us know at the time of booking.

    We will make every effort to accommodate your preferences to the best of our ability.

  • Yes, all of the holiday accommodation at Garreg Goch comes with heating - perfect for autumn or winter breaks at our holiday park in Porthmadog, North Wales.

  • Our luxury lodge and S-pod come with private hot tubs - perfect for a couples break in Porthmadog, North Wales.

    The water in our hot tubs gets changed after every visitor and can take a little while to heat up. It is usually fine to use during the evening on the day of your arrival.

  • No, all water and electric is included in the overall booking price.

  • Yes, we are a dog-friendly holiday park in Porthmadog on the North Wales coast.

    We have a selection of dog friendly holiday homes for hire, ideal for a UK break with your four-legged friend!

  • No, but some of our holiday accommodation does have views of Moel y gest.

  • Some of our hiring accommodation comes with outside furniture but not all.

  • Some of our accommodation has parking for more than one car, but not all.

  • The main difference between holiday caravans and lodge is the accommodation size. Lodges are larger than holiday homes.

Static Caravans & Lodges

  • The nightly rate includes 2 adults and a car. Additional adults / children / awning are available with an extra charge.

  • All of the touring and motorhome pitches at Garreg Goch are hard-standing.

  • Our biggest pitch will accommodate a maximum of 8.5 mtrs.

  • A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per pitch.

  • The pitches are 13 amps.

  • You would just require your standard caravan hook up lead.

  • No unfortunately, we do not allow generators on the touring and motorhome pitches at Garreg Goch Holiday Park.

  • Please check-in at reception or online using our new online check-in portal.

  • The elsan point is to the left of the shower block facility on-site.

  • Yes, you can book as many touring or camping pitches as you wish, depending on availability.

  • No, we do not allow gazebos on park.

  • Yes, you can choose your touring pitch, depending on availability.

  • Yes, there is room for one car on each touring pitch.

  • No, unfortunately we do not allow tents on park.

  • Yes, it is sometimes possible to site friends or families next to each other, depending on availability. Please let us know at the time of booking.

  • A stand alone rotary line can be used but not left up when not in use. We do not allow people to put lines up between units and cars.

  • Yes, as long as it is not directly on the ground and supervised during use.

  • No, open fires are strictly prohibited.

  • Yes, all our touring and motorhome pitches have electric hook up.

  • The amount of people allowed would be determined by the berth of the touring caravan or motorhome you would be bringing.

  • It is always advisable to pre-book especially at the busier times of year.

  • No, we do not have any touring pitches with sea views. However, the beach is a short 5 minutes walk away.

  • We have a wide range of facilities at Garreg Goch Holiday Park, such as an amenities block, laundrette, children's playground, dog facilities (such as a dog shower), free WiFi, recycling points, on-site shop and bakery.

  • Yes, we offer superfast and free WIFI is accessible throughout the park, enabling you to easily stay connected with friends and family whilst enjoying a holiday in North Wales.

  • No, unfortunately we don't currently have a electric car charging point at Garreg Goch Holiday Park.

    The nearest one is in the village's local shop which a 5-minute walk from the park.

  • Yes, there is a well-stocked on-site shop which conveniently allows guests to buy essentials whilst on holiday in North Wales.

  • The shop opens daily from 9am - 5pm.

  • Yes, we have an on-site laundrette at Garreg Goch Holiday Park where guests can wash their clothes, towels and bedsheets if needed.

  • To use the laundry facilities at our laundrette, the cost is £3 to wash and £2 to dry laundry.

  • Yes, our on-site shop at Garreg Goch Holiday Park sells laundry detergent and other essentials.

  • No, unfortunately we don't currently offer bike hire at Garreg Goch Holiday Park.

  • Black Rock Sands is an open, wide beach with fine sands. This beautiful beach in Portrhmadog can be reached from Garreg Goch Caravan Park by walking for 10 minutes along a scenic hedgerow lined path.
